tires riding like hell
33x12.5x15 procomp AT- 20k. Half wore out. They ride like *** for some reason. (freshly balanced, rotated...) They sound like there are shoes stuck to them and just make a thumping sound. No cupping, checked for that. Its the most annoying thing. Also, they bounce alot. Shocks were just changed too.
Ideas? I need a place to start looking to figure this one out.

Have they been balanced and rotated on a regular basis and is your alignment and front suspension always been good? I know with my 235's they rode awful and I guess the previous owner just didnt rotate em properly or cranked the bars n didnt get an alignment. They didnt wear evenly at all and just overall caused alot of problems. There is TONS of reasons thta could be it, but if everything in your suspension is good and alignment and rotations are spot on, id just recommend a new tire.
I know that would suck but you might just have to live with it if everything on the truck is still good. Once they are messed up thats pretty much it. They might even out or get alil better, I know everytime I got mine rotated they rode worse at first then got alil better.
But again check ball joints, front suspension, etc.

Yep, balanced and rotated every 3-5k, basically anytime I do my oil, i do that too. The truck does wear tires on the inside, always has which does annoy me. (even after an alignment, its still like that). all the ball joints and tie rods are good, the UCAs are new actually. I have not checked the LCA pivot bushings, not sure if that would have impact or not. I am wondering if I dropped the tbars some if that would help. They are not maxed out, but I do have the superlift set for 5" and not the 4".
So you think it would be just the wear pattern in the tire?

the wear pattern can def cause issues. I know mine have worn oddly for whatever reasons from the previous owner and it cause a crappy ride, can cause some different frequency vibrations at different speeds, and can really feel different every other week lol its awful.
If the tire is wearing on the inside there is a def an issue in the suspension that needs to be addressed. Whether that be alignment or parts, something if off. I know it can be a pain chasing the grimlin around, try taking it to a different shop and see what they say. good luck
