personally... the new kevlar mtr's are pretty sick and tend to be mild. probly more than you want to spend tho. if not those then the km2, classy, quiet, and well mannered. kinda regret not waiting for those instead of my red letter grabbers

Tyler get the falken wildpeak a/t save a few dollas and then take your gf out for a night. Plus I've read some great reviews on them and theyre extremely quite on the road. Oh and even when they filled up with mud and clay for me theyd still stick and grip

I can definitely understand that.

Go with the Falken's then, they are a great tire and I liked them. If you were planning to keep your Ranger then I would go with the Nitto's. For your purposes Falken's will be just fine though.

My red labels were cheaper than km2's and mtr's and they have been awesome, tons of grip everywhere and they don't seem to wear out. The noise isn't bad either, about the same as the km2.

speaking of Falken, anyone know the difference between the wildpeaks and the rocky mountains?
they both look the same to me.
I need tires, like... yesterday!

They're exactly the same as far as the tread is concerned. Not really sure why they chose to have 2 different names though. I think it has something to do with where the tires are sold geographically.

Go with the the BFG All-Terrains. I just purchased them last month and love them. They are super quite and ride and look great. Can't go wrong with the 3 ply sidewall either.

Tires have gone out of site...I called 20+ tire shops and the cheapest I can find 33s in the BFG A/Ts is 900 bucks drive off. 5 years ago I paid 700.

I just saw a site the other day for some retreads that were supposed to be really good. Got great reviews and looked cool. But I forgot what site it was. I will find it for you.

They were cheap too. Like $500 for a set, not sure on the size though.

I think I'm decided on the rocky mountains. You can get them for 900 shipped on ebay. That sounds like a winner to me!

the best discount could do on them was 1160 OTD and that's without the warranty.

I have a buddy who can mount them for free. Can't really go wrong there. lol

Really? Discount wouldn't match that price? Discount has always matched the cheapest price+shipping I could find online.
