discounttire.com NOT tires.com. Two different places same name. I just bought a set of tires from them and shipping was $10 a tire! They ship via FedEx ground with signature confirmation. I called them up and asked them to take off the signature confirmation and they were more then happy to do so. Great customer service. I picked up my A/T's for under $100 a piece shipped.

Tire Rack has good prices on tires, but when it comes to shipping they bend you over and stick it in your rear. For the most part I found that Tires Plus (ussually expensive) had cheaper prices when you add in shipping.

by the way retreads are illegal to use or sell for passenger cars in the US. They are legal in other countries, and on the inner wheels of dully axels on big rigs, but not on passenger cars in the US.

Are you thinking of blemish tires?
