TOYO Open Country AT...Worst Tire Ever!!!

true.
I really don't care anymore. This debate is stupid and neither 'side' is gonna convince the other side to see it their way cause we have contrasting experiences. So I'll just leave the thread with this. I nearly got into a 1-vehicle wreck on my BFGs in the rain. Adios

this thread is incredibly stupid overall

toyo's blow ... my dad has the a/t's on his company work truck (a 98 silverado) ... he will no longer even take it into the snow and isnt too thrilled about driving it in the rain due to hydoplaining issues already mentioned
furthermore, i had some different toyo's on my integra and they sucked even when dry, couldnt corner and a lot of sidewall roll .... if D. were still on this forum he would echo my sentiments about their street tires also.

what do toyo's have to do with this? maybe they are a pos that can fail...I dont know.
I happen to know and millions of others who religously buy bfg a/ts time and time again happen to know that they are not going to kill you if you are driving properly/ know what your doing... sure freak accidents can happen and maybe you had a bad experience but does that mean the BFG a/t is a pos? NO, Im so tired of listening to whiny sh*ts like you so I come vent it on a forum, deal with it.
you still havent given your reason so I am just going to assume your an r-tard who really doesnt know what he's talking about and just spouts useless info like many people I have met. I dont speak out my @ss I only talk what I know and your clearly opposite, I can argue this all day long but you cant beat the ignorant, cya

2) I gave my experience with both brands, you clearly don't respect that so I have no respect for you
3) If youre so ignorant you dont know what hydroplaning is and how it can get you into serious accidents, move somewhere where it never rains. Or actually you know what, just stay where you are and hopefully you drive off a bridge or something. If you don't believe that it happened to me on BFG's, go f*** yourself with your bullsh*t high and mighty attitude. You are a hypocrite SOB for not questioning those here who had scary experiences with Toyos. I shouldnt have to give the whole story just because you're ignorant and don't believe me. Thats your problem. Go whine out of your @ss to someone else.

1) I never said anything about almost getting killed, you're an assclown for putting words in peoples mouths and then using it against them

sorry for saying kill, you said they nearly cuased you to crash.. w/e no they didnt, you almost caused yourself to crash.
explain how I am in any way a hypocrite. I've already explained that I have no clue how toyos ride so it does not matter to me, Im purely speaking for the BFG not toyo. NOT TOYO
NOT TOYO

Ill never buy another set of bfg at's. They are by far the most overrated tires. Ill never trust anyone on a forum again, half the people here can't even figure out how to install a OHC or HID kit by themselves.
#98
wow ...... every car ive ever owned if im new to doing something on it, hell yeah i look up information on doing an install and if possible have someone whos done it help me rather than hack it up and replace more parts.
#99
not really.. I personally have no problems driving through standing water with my a/t ko's so when I see people complain about them and go as far as saying the tires almost caused them to crash I just laugh, end of story agree to disagree, thanks for getting sooo angry over something so little. I just hate them when I have to go in mud

I personally love my Toyo A/T's and will be buying another set this winter. I've been in downpours and never broke traction. The snow traction is amazing. I can break them loose from a stop going up hills in the winter in 2wd. That really doesn't bother me.
