Toyo A/T vs Nitto Dune Grappler

I know the toyo is an A/T and the dune grappler is made for sand. But is there really a big difference in on and offroad performance between the two? I've heard the dune grappler gets clogged with mud fast, but so do my toyo's I have now. And will it be much different on wet roads? I like my toyo A/T's I have now but im just exploring my options for my next set of tires. The dune grapplers look pretty mean.
