trying to find a nice 16x8 wheel
#6
well there really is no difference in weight between my 16inch lrd and a 33 1050 bfg at lrc so id like to stay with a 16 inch rim (its not much more money and the tires are alot cheaper for the size 33 11.2 vs. 33x1050 bfg at)
that and i really dont want to go with a bfg at (i think they are just a lil overated)
dont try to argue the bfg thing with me i work at a tire store and see alot of them

redneck is one of those guys who thinks his truck and his way is the right way. it's too bad he has a 4x4 "wanna be" if he listened to his own advice, he'd sell his truck for a real 4x4 ranger and not some pathetic "starter" ranger. he contradicts himself all the time: when he had black wheels, he praised them. then, after he changed to aluminum wheels, he said "black steel wheels suck, they are heavy" redneck really needs to realize that his truck is nothing but a 2wd with some simple add ons and to top it off, i laughed my *** off when i saw he entered his truck in a truck show! if anyone needs a reality check, it's zach. by the way, your ranger is a '93 it's time you got rid of the truck for a newer one, since you must be a millionaire, due to the fact your always telling people to buy kc's or new tires or wheels, or are you just one of those who cannot understand that what you have is probably the last truck anyone would want to have as a design for their truck. face the facts: your truck is nothing to brag about. as for my truck, i have never claimed to have the best looking, or the biggest, or even the nicest. everyone likes their truck in their own way. if you don't agree with what someone is doing, you could just say "maybe you could try this, or how about doing it this way?" because i am sick of the way you put down other peoples ideas or questions, because you don't like it. remember, redneck, there all types of rangers and all types of people in this world and you and your truck are just a miniscule part. now, if you want to flame my truck, go ahead, but remember, everything i said about you and your posts towards other members and their trucks are true. i hope your not running stock 2.3L gears and 33's. if you are, your driving a slug. enjoy the rest of the day.

ok, being that i'm old enough to know better, i will end this. yes, it was wrong of me to flame zach. BUT, i had to make a point that his ideas and reasonings are not the written(or spoken) word. everyone has their ideas and opinions. thats what makes our trucks so special. this is going out to zach, yes, but it also applies to each of us: if you don't agree with someone, say so, but try to do it in a way thats positive and not negitive sounding. for example: "maybe you should try kc lights instead of pro comp" instead of "procomps suck!" being a psychology major, it's amazing how much hatred can be averted with just a few different word and phrases. so, with that said, it is nearing the holiday season and it isn't worth it to garner hatred towards another human being. like i stated above, i starting this flamefest, now, i will end it.
zach, i appologize for being crass, rude and out of line. now, lets just have fun with our rangers!

well, on topic, i would only suggest getting a 15 inch rim because tires for 15 inch rims tend to be a lot less money than tires for 16 inch rims so in the long run you would be saving quite a bit of money. i dont know about you but i wear through a set of tires in about a year to a year and half, but that happens when you drive about 50K miles a year so if i can save 40 bucks a tire by using a 15 inch rim then its more than worth it. Why are you worried about needing such a narrow tire? why not go with a 33x12.5? of you could get a 32x11.5, both of which are readily available for a 15 inch rim...
