cant make up my mind about tire size
so i got the alcoas, and once they get cleaned up i am gonna get some tires for them. now if i am not mistaken my stock tire is a 30.5 (cant remember the actually metric numbering). and i want to step it up a bit. If i am reading the chart in the sticky right i can go up to a 33" with just a mild tbar crank.
here is the dilemma. i dont want to re gear right now, plus i dont want to crank the **** out of the tbars, even at all actually. so what size should i go with, and not have the truck be a dog, i know we are only talking a few inches but i have no idea or basis for comparison.
lets have your input.

32x11.5x15 thats what i had on my truck before the lift with my alcoa's i loved it. NO T-bar Crank
here:
here is Bill's 2004 level II with stock alcoa and 33x12.5x15 with a T-bar crank
only prob with doing 33x12.5x15 on a 15x7 is you WILL NOT get proper wear out of them at all.... they will fit tho on a 15x7 because they are so narrowed because of the rim
here is the same tires 11 days later with a body lift and 15x10 ... its amazing how a 15x7 draws that tire in....

I've just put 31s on my truck with some 15x8 steel Cragars. The rims are like lead weights, but I find they do not hinder the truck's performance until you start going up a big hill. That's when I've got to gear down, or stay in a lower gear than I usually would be.
I am most likely stepping up to 32s shortly, and I expect to get a bit of a hit in performance since the tire/rim combo is going to be heavy, and my old 4.0 just rolled 250k miles, but she's still got lots of pep and I don't beat on it...much.
You should be fine with the 32s, and actually I just posted a thread asking if I can fit 32s with no lift and the answer seems to be yes.

I have a 2004 "Appearance" 2WD, and I'm gonna lift it up 4" with the spindles/blocks ( the t-bars were cranked before I got the truck) and that's the exact wheel I was looking for ( the 15 x 10) I haven't decide on the T/A's, ( maybe The Yokahama Geolanders) but who makes the that wheel? Thanks
