What do you think about this

This guy on craigslist is selling some trxus sts 33's with Dc-1 wheels all for 800. Is this a pretty good deal? I know this guy really wants to sell them. He is the same guy I bought my exhaust from. What do you guys think?

looks like a good find, but ask why he is selling all that for only $800. the tires new, so are the wheels (which he say's they are) retail for $200 each and those wheels are easily $150 each. so why would he take a $600 loss?? make sure the tires are ok and the wheels aren't bent.

When I went to purchase the exhaust system from him he said that he ran into some big financial troubles, and hes trying to get rid of his stuff as fast as he can. He is also selling his superlift for 1500.

I'm not a fan of those tires. And 15x10's suck in the winter!

Because they are so wide. They just float across the snow. I have 15x10 on my truck now and trust me they suck in the winter. But you could just put the stock rims on those tires for winter. Not a big deal.

I would buy these, but will 33's on a 15x10 rim fit a stock 4x4?

It'll be tight and rub w/ a full t-bar crank.

Unfortunately my dad is very against my putting a bl on my truck. He paid for half of it, so I guess its half his. I tried to talk him into it, but he wont change his mind.

Then 32's would be much better for you. I'm running 32x11.5x15 on my truck and I get some rubbing when at full crank. So 33's would be that much worse. I have a 1 1/4in tbar crank too.

Those were up for $1200 for a while and then the price dropped to $1100 then to $900 and now $800.

If thats the guy with the superlift and skid plate, see if he'll throw in the skid plate for $50 and ill buy it off of you. I tried to buy it off of him with out the lift but he wouldnt sell it.

My rims are 16's so I wouldnt really have any use for them. Also Im actually looking at getting new tires in the spring. I really need to get back to a street tire thats stock size. I'm up to 400 miles a week and I hate my A/T's on the freeway.

Oh and I may have found an off-road spot in RF, but I'm not going to attempt it without another truck. Hop on AIM and ill tell you about it.

31x10.5 on a 10in wide rim is not a good idea. I am pushing it with an 11.5 on my 10's right now.

Yea I have been contemplating buying them just to make some more money by selling them for more. I could probably get at least $1000 off of them. But of course this guy has had this ad up for a while and it seems like no one wants them.
