what size spacer i can put without changing the oem stud
hey guys I just bought 265 70r16 tires and i put it on my stock rims (2011 sport 4x4 with cranked t-bars) and they are rubbing in the inside when i turn, it's only a winter setup i don't want to spend a lot off money for offset wheels so i was wondering if 0.5`` spacer will fit on oem wheel stud? if not what is the thicker size i can go.
thanks
thanks

First see where it's rubbing, if it's just the sway bar I would not worry about it. You can add about 1/4 in spacer on the stock studs or go to a bolt on spacer 1.5in min if you don't want to cut your studs. Make sure to check them often if you go to a bolt on style spacer.
I think your looking at the wrong thing. Torsion bar is too far under your truck for rubbing. You'd be hitting other things. I'm with mike. It sounds like the sway bar. Mine runs that and I have 265/75r16's. my rims are also stock. It's not worth putting a spacer on the front for that kind of rubbing. Eventually I am gonna go to a rim that has a different offset.
