If you could get the same wheel with the correct 5 on 4.5" bolt circle, the 4.5" backspacing would place the inner lip of the wheel in the same location as the stock wheel and the outer lip would be farther 1" out, due to the wider 8" width. The tire tread would be moved 1/2" out from the factory location.

The offset (#7 below) is the distance from the centerline of the rim to the mounting face. It is mathematically related to the width and backspacing but, if 2 wheels have the same offset but different widths, the backspacing is not the same. That's because the wheel lip-to-centerline distance is different on a wider wheel as compared to a narrower one.
Factory Ranger wheels have 12mm positive offset, 7" width and 4.5" BS.
