I haven't heard many good things about them either. They look cool as hell, but idk? I heard tread life sucks too on them.

X-terrains are probably best suited for rock crawling; i got 'em for that and cuz they look pretty good. i've been told not to expected much more than 40k out of them.

I actually only have about 6 weeks left in town. I'll be moving, heading East to the NYC area. So chances are good I'll be getting tires that'll wear better for the miles i'm gonna put on 'em; keep the X's for wheelin'.

yeah. my truck is actually in the shop as we speak, so you won't see it for a few weeks. i'm having a shop do it mainly cuz i don't have the space to do it (if you've seen my house, the drive is packed). i'm not letting the shop do all the work without some help tho; whenever i can i'm pitching in. the owner is really cool like that; helping keep the cost down just abit, too.

Actually i have driven a friends f350 with 4x4 and front locker going through a deep and sticky mudhole was like nothing compared to the mts. As long as u have the right stuff on ur truck and know how to use the Xs there great in mudd.

same here actually. the RCD is a *****IN' kit, it just didn't give me what i wanted, which is wheel travel and a good amount of articulation.

i just got some x-terrains, they dont seem to be all that bad, ive only had them a few days and they were used before me but they def ride really smooth on the higway which was surprising, def loud, but i like it, never had any experience with baja claws, are they supposed to last longer than x-terrains???

A/T's suck in the mud! They turn into slick fast! Check out this thread: Click Me Click Me! I learned the hard way.
