Code 77 WOT

I keep getting the code 77 in my EEC-IV for an "Operator error during Dynamic Response Test/Wide Open Throttle not sensed". For some reason the computer is not sensing the throttle "goose" that I give it when I accessing the computer for codes. Any ideas on remedies/theories?

Throttle position sensor? Or try it again, being sure to push the pedal all the way to the floor, and hold it for just a second this time? Or, check the throttle cable for slack, and maybe do the zip tie throttle cable mod.

Not sure what the zip tie throttle cable mod is.

I went to check for slack in my pedal. It is REALLY loose. I will try the zip-tie mod and see if it solves the problem.

Did not solve the problem. In fact, it gave me a code 12 "RPM at idle out of range/high" along with the original. So... anyone else?
