Clutch Help!!

Ive got a mazda B3000(ranger 3.0) 5sp 4x4 at 107K and the clutch started slipping today...So id assume its time for a new clutch? It was drivin by a lady who sucked at sticks before i got it....Costs? Any tips? How long of a job? ANy thing to look for first?

yup time for a new one....you are looking at roughly $200 for just the clutch...probably roughly $400 for labor...

Screw having the service shop here do it...Id have more problems then....How do I go about getting the shift lever off that trans? never done a truck this new.... im used to old fords

I had never done a clutch before in a vehicle and when my motor blew up i figured i just might as well put in a new clutch and its really easy just buy a clutch it should come with the alignment tool n my advice would be to replace your pilot bearing why you have the clutch out

By the way its a 1994..ya i planned on doing the piolet too...first its got to make the 250 mile trek home....
