Do you notice big gains even if your running huge tires and if the ranger is a manual?

I've sent several emails to bamachips and have not recieved any replys after several weeks. I have many friends and have read many post of people that swear by his work, so I really don't understand. I have the $$$ sitting here for the programmer, but I just cannot get a responce to a couple simple questions. I hope you have better luck because I here his programs are hard to beat for out trucks.

www.jusnesmodified.com has them, as someone said above, but maybe some people on here can answer your questions.

hey RJ,

The Bamachips guys are really busy, Jusnes modified has taken over the entire F-series line because of this, while Doug still does Rangers I recommend you talk to Kris Jusnes of Jusnesmodified because of their excellent customer service and availability. KJ just bought himself a house so he might be a lil bit busy but I garuntee he will do his best to get you what you want

I emaild my order to doug about 2.5 weeks ago. It took a week and a half of good communication to get the order placed, and another week to get my tracking number. Doug is very busy, but he is also very good at getting back to you and following thorugh. Mine will be here next Tuesday, I can hardly wait. If you give doug some time I am sure he will come through for you.

I emailed approx. 6-7 weeks ago and recieved a quick reply asking me the axel code, tire size, engine size and a few other things. I sent an email right back within a hour or so and havn't heard anything since. I am not sure what different programs are available, thats the question I'd like to have answeard before placing the order and ending up with something other than what I really want. Does anyone know if there is a price differance between going straight to bamachips.com or just getting it from www.jusnesmodified.com, which a-lot of people here have recommended?

There is no price difference. JusnesModified is a Bamachips distributor. Unless they are running a special the prices are the same.

Contact Kristoffer and he will hook you up.

either way doug does the actual programming, its just easier for him for us to deal with the customer and simply deliver him the specs, that way all he has to do is make the tunes and ship them out. its really saved him some time, and we dont mind doing it as a favor to him, we sell the tuners at the same price and dont make that much off them, but we arent in the game to make money off doug, mostly to make strong business ties and help doug out. either I or my brother can answer your questions for you and make sure you make an informed decision!

i was just looking at the xcalibrator 2 tuner and it ses "premium fuel octane" 91, 92, 93 as choices. does this mean that i wouldn't be able to run 87 octane anymore? or could i get it programmed to run 87 octane?

yes you can use 87 on any tune, when you list your custom tunes just say 87 octane, or whatever octane you would like to use

typically the tuner will improve gas mileage, but it does depend entirely on the driver. even so, at best you may only see 1-2 mpg increase, which would take a while to "pay for itself" Im not trying to turn you away from it, but everyone needs to know this, haha. Its hard to really justify the cost by saying, ok, in 42 tanks of gas it will have paid for itself, haha.

The best mod you can do for gas mileage is the e-fan, period. Then i would do the tuner
