Whipple on FordRacingParts?

I thought they stopped production of these a long time ago? I would think Ford would pull it from the site if they aren't produced but it makes me wonder if they still have some sitting around.

If I had that kind of cash laying around I would definitely order now. But if that item is still on their website come next year I'll try to order it. I just don't understand why it would be up there. They stopped production at least a year and a half ago.

^^X2usually they are left overs... or in most cases some sites leave them up there.... but Id be weary of dropping that kind on money on something thats on the internet... check to be sure thats what you will be getting so that you wont be apart of some fraud

Too bad that SC brings the 3.0 up to par with its competitions v6's but kills the fuel economy.

You would have to be INSANE to buy that lol. If I had that much of a budget and wanted power I think I'd swap in a used Explorer 302 with a few goodies on it.

Frontier has 261 hp.

I have heard that the head gaskets can go even with the low amount of boost that this kit runs. Also I raced a 3.0 auto that had the Whipple kit and I blew it's doors off.

This would be a heck of a lot easier than a 302 swap but not necessarily cheaper. If they made a 302 Explorer with a 2wd transmission from the factory my truck would have it.
