I know I just cant find it!

Im trying to find the air box mod where your drill holes in it or somthing to that extent. I know its out there i just cant find it HELP!

Just open your air box..take out your filter..and drill some holes in the bottom of the airbox. i sed a 2in hole saw attachment on a cordless hand drill.

The airbox mod is where you take the silencer off of the from the front. You can also open it up in the front with a hole saw or sawzaw.

idk..never sucked in water with it. I did suck a big gulp of muddy dirty water the the k&n intake.

oh. cause i wanted to do something like that. prob. nothing that major and as open as yours is but something similar. i just cant get that bottom part out. i freaking stood on the tire one day and sprayed a **** load of WD-40 in the gromets and pulled and tugged in every direction possible and it would not come out. so i gave up.

Theres 2 grommets in the bottom and then 2 more on the side of the truck. The ones on the side gave me the most trouble.

Take your cover off, take your filter out, spray WD40/TC11 or whatever into the two circles at the base of the inside of the "bucket". Pull up. SHould pop right out. The fender ones just popped right out for me, with no WD40/TC11.
