Better Designed Fuel Tank would be nice
So when I first got my truck, I noticed that when I am sitting on a hill while running, the fuel gauge will move upwards, however when I am sitting on a downhill slope, the fuel gauge will move downwards, not the problem; in fact its quite normal. However, a 19-gallon fuel tank that is about four feet long and two feet wide, with the pump/float in the middle is a terrible design. My main reasoning is that when it says I have extremely low fuel (yellow/red fuel warning light), and I fill up, I can only get about 15 gallons into the tank. When there are only four gallons remaining, it sloshes around everywhere except the middle of the tank where the float is, I knew I should have gotten another model year up with the in-dash fuel remaining mileage gauge. Anyone else agree with this?

The tank design does not change nor will the issue go away with a newer truck. The truck has about a 50 mile reserve capacity to keep you from being stranded, I kinda like that.
You have to admit your knit picking pretty hard here, especially since Wisconsin doesn't have any mountains to drive on where it might actually make a difference.
If you want an accurate gauge ditch the hot dog tank for a fuel cell.
FWIW, I run an ultra-guage and it counts gallons left and current mileage. Also I have gotten just over 19 in my truck so you are not trying hard enough. I might be a bit hard on you but its honestly a small issue.
