Today we had a massive storm and lightning struck my antenna whip and im guessing went right through all of my truck. It tore a solid foot off the whip. Now my abs control unit*** im guessing has a whine in it. It takes about 30 seconds after the truck is off to completely go away. It sounds like a fan spinning. Its right next to the batter and it says 4x2. Any ideas on wth could of happened?

ps - my cb radio is wired to my cig lighter.

 

That is the ABS control unit.

 

Crazy. I've had lightning slam down all around me but never any of my trucks [knock on wood].

Does you insurance cover the damage at all? Might be a better way of doing things cause they'll catch any other damage that might be missed by doing it yourself. LR
