Oh ok. I thought that Cummins made the powerstroke exclusively for Ford. That's a good engine. Duramax Diesel tried to copy it and they failed in a big,big way. I thought it was funny myself.

Cummins is exclusively in the Dodge! International makes the powerstroke, and Isuzu makes the D-max for Chevy!

i think he was the one that told me this, race trucks need them because the smoke can cloud the sensors/lasers w/e they are at the start line so it gives false readings

Makes good sense to me. What's the diameter on those things anyways? Looks huge!

6 inch, and that is exactly right, the black smoke is sooo thick it will give a false time, you leave the beams, it doesn't know till the smoke clears. You run a sweet time, but its not accurate. Oh yeah, it will be in HPR in baytown in October for sure. Probably sooner than that. I have a few grudge matches brewing in Houston.

Oh ok. wasn't sure. There use to be an old saying but Dodge has changed it. International Makes it and Cummins shakes it. Something to that affect. If you don't mind me asking how much have you spent on this project?

"Dodge makes it, Cummins shakes it"

As far as the cost, I rreally don't know. I bought the truck, and then WELL over 10K. I try not to think about it. LOL
