No its definitely not all talk.
Here are a few links: I am Dalpilot, a lead Moderator over there, and the guy building the truck. It was kind of kept secret in the beginning, that is why I used a different screen name. Now its out, and so far its coming along well. The motor work is being done in Austin, and the actual transplant is being done in Oxnard California.

Well, the truck is actually in California. I can and have posted a bunch of pics On Competitiondiesel.com about it, just a little harder to keep up both sites. Sorry to inconvenience you so. It takes a little longer to accomplish the build and swap then changing the oil there chief. If I was just swapping in a stock 6.0 it would be done, but I am building a , hopefully, 900 HP 6.0. You don't just buy those parts at NAPA.

It will get there, I know it takes alot of time
It took my friend 2 years to build his 57 chevy with a 454 in it. I dont know how many times he had to pull the engine adjust something, then pull it again , then do this, then that wouldn't line up and blah blah blah.
Accually its not even done yet, but its driviable and streetable (are those words lol)
Edit: and someone just got owned !

thats a tight goal....puts u in a bind if parts are back ordered till january, then you have to wire everything, get the fuel system in, suspension set up correctly to handle the weight of the diesel engine, gotta run it atleast a couple times to find out what the truck is gonna do, not to mention make sure it will hold up, check for any leaks, get the boost set correctly....I wish you the best of luck!!
