modifying a SD frame would be boring haha

They beat the Banks record in that division, but Banks was 2 MPH faster. Banks is crap but they sure have great marketing.

FOr a Ford, SCT is the best on a 6.0. On a 7.3, TS, or again SCT. PPE on the D-Max, and Smarty stacked with a TS MP8 on the cummins. Banks is crap. They charge twice what the others do, and produce half the power, but again, they have great advertising. WHen you go to the track, theres not a soul with a Banks powered truck. Until this week, the stuff that was on the Banks drag truck wasn't available to the public. Hopefully they will continue to make that stuff available.

Went out yesterday to Genes shop, and Mike Dilehay, (DHRA quick diesel 07 champ), showed up and we worked on the Ranger for quite a while. It now has nothing from the cab back, and the back half frame is ready to be welded on.

Also we took the dash out to get to the AC box and windsheild wipers, and after we saw how much it weighed, about 125 LBS we decided to get rid of it altogether and will run an aluminum dash.

Ran into a major snag with the front of the Frame. In order to lower it further, (the prvious owner had it lowered) the lower part of the frame was notched considerably to clear the lower control arms. There is no way to fix it, except either get a new front clip, or go to a tube chasis. We are gonna try to find a new front clip monday, but its a major setback and will probably delay its debut a month.

Whew! alot of fabrication in this project. recomend turbonetics for turbo and interkooler upgardes www.turboneticsinc.com . they have a racing intercooler upgrade for the Ford 6.0 Power Stroke diesel engines. Banks suck. Don't waste ur money on banks they aint worth ur time. Trust me on this I am ford certified. Let us know when ur finished with it. This is a killer project. What kind of injectors are u using?

I know for a fact Tim knows what he wants and what he is going to do to his truck so don't worry about what he is putting on the truck.

The injectors are a hybrid, 375's with "Custom" nozzles. Turbonetics is most likely gonna be the Turbo. Had a major setback with the frame...........its toast, so unfortuantely, its done, soooooooo Wednesday, I am buying this:

Yeah, no kidding. And for the record, in the diesel community of racers, Banks is a joke.

Isn't it a little big for a ranger in both size and weight?
Kinda impractical, just my .02

Oh man that sucks that u had to scrap her. But it looks like u chose a really sweet looking ride man. I love turbonetic's turbos. That is the absolute best turbo set up U can get bar none. I don't even know how banks is even in business, they suck. Thier tuner modules are no where near Edge's level. How much cutting and fabrication did u have to do on the other?
