cut the front off a continental and put it behind a ranger lol... its definately square and doesn't dog leg down the road but i still havn't ran brake lines or fabricated a steering mechinism for the rear steer... i may just weld it in place for now so it doesnt steer,(easy way out) and ideally i onlly wanted this to go down the 1/4 mile once and a while, but i also think it would make a great cyclone burn out truck lol...in which case a forklift hydrolic steering diverter thing could mount up some how to turn the steering shaft on the rack... giving me four wheel steer wheel and if i added this other continental drivetrain i have an make it a twin engine burn out monster.... 4wd... who knows... this conti motor may also have the same trans bolt pattern as my Lincoln Ls 5 speed standard... another interesting project

i have driven it around here in the country but it is alot of power in a now very light and *** heavy vehicle... im sure on pavement it will lift a tire... it only got to be like 2000lbs and 300++ hp
purely guessing but its all aluminum v8 and trans, basically 1000lbs im guessing with struts and all involved... and a ranger with no motor and trans and the inside of the box basically cut out cant weigh more then 1000lbs, i ran the stock rad in its stock location with all its cooling fans and over flow tank trans cooler, sensors, on the conti motor set up in the rear and removed everything not needed up front and ran the gas tank up the middle where the drive shaft and trans used to live, i had to pull the ranger sending unit out and zip tie in the fuel pump from the conti gas tank, its a returnless pump and just cut the ranger feed line shorter by like 3/4 inch, to fit in place of old pump, also need the filter sock from the ranger to to put on the conti pump, i opted for the ranger gas tank bcasue it was a more workable shape to deal with and sat up front nicely where a full tank of gas would help keep weight up front? lol it really wasnt that hard to doo, making the engine run with out alot of its harness was tricky but doable with trial an error

Well.....
No more details on truck, but I would emagine that's where the fuel tank/cell is located.
