2003 Ford Ranger FX4II 4.0 V6 4x4 5R55E 90k miles - trans was shifting poorly so did major service - replaced valve body with one from Shift Rite Transmisssions
that had the transgo SK44-55E shift kit installed (see 5R55E 4WD Valve Body Transgo Updated Remanufactured Rebuilt 4R55E 4R44E 5R44E | eBay
). I used Ford Mercon V fluid. Transmission throws code P0741 (Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off) every time truck is driven. Shift Rite is sending me a new Torque Converter Lockup Solenoid. Even though shift rite claims "Tested/Reconditioned Solenoids included" my confidence in the testing/reconditioning is not high. I'm wondering if I should replace all of the solenoids with new ones from Ford at the same time I replace the TCC solenoid. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
