most manuels do that... it seems to be like when you go to put it in gear and the gears inside the tranny are not aligned so then it will kinda chirp....ESPECIALLY IF YOU TRY TO PUT IT INTO REVERSE WHILE STILL KINDA COASTING FORWARD... my suggestion is play around with it.. here is option (1) when you start your truck dont imediatly put it into reverse.. while the truck is kinda warming up rev the motor slightly just like around 1000 rpms.. nothing real harsh on the motor.. the put make sure you engage the clutch fullyand then try to put into reverse.. make sure you TRY THIS BEFORE YOU LET DISENGAGE the emergancy brake... here is option (2) if tht does not work start the truck disengage the emergancy brake let the truck roll slightly... only about 5" and then try and put into reverse....if both of those dont end up working send me a pm and i will try and help you out.......

when you boost the line pressure like he did it will whine or squeal in reverse because the fluid is at a higher pressure.
also for the reverse thud make sure you are completely stopped and have your foot on the brake. it will always thud some, but my guess is since the line pressure is up it has no reverse delay like it used to.
