Front clip conversions?

I looked back pretty deep in here and didnt seem to find a thread about converting front clips. If im just missing one feel free to tell me. Im curious on my 93-97 how much is involved going to the 06 and up. I know the hood, fenders, header, lights, grille, core support need to be changed. Is the core support the only thing that has to be cut/welded or do like the inner fenders or something need to change too. Thanks!

inner fenders will have to be modified just a hair, but if you can cut out a core support and weld a new one in, the minor trimming won't be an issue. other than that, sounds like you have the right idea. probably a little wiring on the head lights, and you'll need to change the driver's side hood hinge as well. don't forget the header panel to mount all the lights/grill to as well.

thanks for all the info! yeah i had header in there and wiring is no problem. Im not interested in hacking just to make it fit, I want it to be pretty much factory. So the driver hinge is different too? Ok added to list. lol. is the hood latch different?

cool ok that gives me a better idea of it broken down. Im not wanting to just hack it to put it together though but that works perfect for a trail rig.
