Camper interchangability

Just wondering what years/models I can buy a camper top from.

I found a few for s10's and such, just wondering if there is any difference if anyone can verify.

theres an almost new one (wrong color, but oh well) for a dodge dakota newer body style...looks pretty universal to me?

I didnt think they were universal at all. but i never looked into it. 93+ rangers with regular bed will work.

Yea, I'm bidding on one from a nissan frontier. Looks to me like all 6ft beds should work, just asking though.

edit: dims are

6'3"L X 5'W X 18-1/2"W

measures right out to the ranger bed :)

Hopefully I can win this, reserve is set at 175 and thats what I'm bidding...only 1d9hrs left

as long as the dimensions are the same or pretty close to it, it should fit.

I would try and stick with one for a ranger if possible. I have one for a ranger I put on mine sometimes and my friend used to have it on his S-10 before that. It fit on the S-10, but not very well and it didn't match up with the body lines at all. I think it was about an inch too long on the S-10, so if you get one for an S-10 it may be to short.

Mine is a high rise one, a regular might have looked better. And I am not picky at all, my truck is Blue and the cap is Dark Green.

:Yea, this one is for a nissan frontier, it came off of a 2000 king cab, its silver. It's the same dims as the ranger...so we'll see how it fits! I called the topper place and they said they sell different kinds for different years, but for the most part a certain body style will look the same.

He said the only difference usually is the cab height, a 6ft bed is a 6ft bed, no matter what. He said they are all built the same length and width, just not hieght. He told me the nissan is the same size as the ranger.

Hopefully I'll get this cap, the bid is at 175 right now. It's silver, but for 300 bux I can get it painted...or I can do the spray paint mod

i had one from an S-10 on my 04. i think the cap from the s-10 narrows at the end near the tailgate.

I have one from an 88 S10 on my 98 ranger. It doesn't fit perfect and the paint doesn't match but it fits and serves the purpose I need it to. For a $100 I can't complain about it.

Since the ranger cab actually leans forward at the back wall the frontier might not look right on there
