Remove front bumper

Apologies if this has been beaten to death. I searched first to no avail.

On my 02 Mazda, where are the bumper mounting bolts and how many are there?

I'm thinking its almost easier to just remove the entire bumper as one piece and bring it inside to remove the fog light housings since they need to come apart anyways.

Tips, locations and photos are always helpful.

Thanks

search for bumper gap mod and youll see photos...nvm the photos arent working but just do what i said below and you should be fine

but if you crawl under your bumper and look up youll see two bolts on either frame horn. just loosen those bolts and it will come off. do them slowly though because having a bumper fall on you wont feel good

Just 2 bolts holding the entire thing on? Wow. Might have to go do that later.

I managed to get one of my fog light lenses off,but the mount was already broken and the lens housing is cracked.

On the old 86-93 Mazda pickups, its 4 bolts that hold the bumper on and I can pull one of those bumpers off in 5-10 mins.

There is 4 on each side of mine I think. Maybe only 4 total and 2 on each side. I don't remember. I took it off like two weeks ago.

Hmm,that looks kinda like mine. However, with this weather and the salt encrusted on my truck, it's not helping any with removing bolts. I broke the head off one of my fog light bolts. Grr.

That truck above looks like it has 3" BL brackets on it to raise the bumper. That is why it looks different. I'm not positive though.

Well,I'll get under there in a couple days when it warms up. I need to get a new fog light housing and bracket. GRR

Maybe I should do a Ranger bumper swap.
