I had a LEER Topper with contractor flip up side windows. Do yourself a favor and get these no matter what brand you get, They are 100x better than having to crawl into the bed to get something in the front.

I've got one that I got from my cousin for $50. It's nothing special, but keeps my gear dry when it is snowing, or when I have it on.

If you are getting a cap for camping, I suggest getting the ones that stick up a little ways over the cab of the truck (like the Leers 180 series). Leer doesn't make one for the Rangers, but A.R.E. does for $200 less then Leer. It's the MX series. Comes with the same options as the Leer too. And a Yakima rack instead of Thule (thought both are probably the top brands right now).

By the way Mike, I like your pinto. We used to have a lime green one. I never got the chance to drive it, but I liked it. It was indestructible! It ran into a herd of elk, and only came out with a couple of dents. It was a wagon, though, not the coupe.

And I really like your wheels!

Thanks. I want a 77-78 Crusing Wagon, but that'll have to wait. When my dad was around 18 he had one same body as mine, but a '72 and his dad and sister also had one each. my dad has always wanted another one to fix up and bought this one less than a year ago and sunk a small fortune into the mechanical side of it and decided he didn't want to put anymore money into it and gave it to me.

Thanks about the wheels too. Now back on topic.

it is a leer and I have no idea what model # it is. I bought it from Grant and he got it form John (HAZZARDJOHN). I do know that John opened up the book and picked out every option they offered.
