I need a part but i cant find it on rock auto

Im looking for the tub that the dip stick does into mine has been held in place with a zip tie since i bought it and it broke off some how. but i cant find it on rock auto or advance auto.


Can someone help me out plz

Are you talking about the dipstick tube that slides into the oilpan or block?

yeah i guess now i just have to make time to go there i wanted to just order one on line so i didnt have to go to the junk yard

doesn't the dealership only sell new parts?

go to a hardware store and get some aluminum tubing of the same size diameter and cut it to the length you need...you may have to bend it a little, though that's your cheapest route.

but i would say hit the junkyard first that way if you find one you'll know it will work

yeah i thought about that but it will be alot easier to just go to a junk yard

Dude one from the JY will be fine and it wont cost you much of anything. Time is the worst part though, finding the time to go find one
