I doubt the Ranger is going to be able to work with anything over 10psi. I just think the motor will not be able to handle it.
the diesels i work on push fro 28 and can push up to 40psi and there are many rangers getting more than 20psi and so you know this si not stock internals

i don't know if you've ever seen a drag car but they have these things called drag slicks bigger than your cavi that grip better than an infant getting breast feed show me a video or a time slip or something besides a thumbnail pic of the car

a Tsi can only hold 15lbs on a stock turbo? Wher'd ya get that. . .i owned a 90 Tsi and boosted 18lbs on a stock turbo. . .11.3 street tire cavi? dude its a cavi-imo most unreliable motor known. as far as boosting a truck with higher miles, ive already had nitrous hooked up to my 4.0 and im over 84k hasnt hurt it at all. . .2.5 with a 48mm turbo. . .you could prolly run it stock on 5lbs. . .if u upgraded the internals sure you could run more boost. . . .though imo bigger motor more power. . .to each his own

On a side note, but in relation to this thread....

Brother bought 5 total turbos off ebay. One a brand new rebuild with tags and proof, straight off the shelf. I'm pretty sure they are BIG Holset hardryers. Believe the one in the vid was $116. Here's what he made out of it...first runs...
