Hope you don't pass me on the road then. Million bucks says a quick flash from my Rigid Industries lights will give you a nice taste of your own medicine . . .

I would HIGHLY reccomend www.houseofhid.com

I went with them, (they are local to KC) and have a lifetime warranty on everything (minus bulbs of course) Install was very quick to. plug and play.

Lots of people bashed them on super duty forums and spent whole time arguing bout the legality. I just want info on good kits. It's all about aiming them anyhow

You're fine with stock housings. Quit with the housing BS already. I put 05 Super Duty lights on my 01 and 6k HIDs in them yesterday. The only car that flashed me was a lowered POS. I drove home last night and kept about a 6-7 car following distance behind a vehicle and my lights weren't up in their back window or anything. I didn't even have to aim them. Some people are going to be ****** about HIDs because they simply don't like them. I bought mine from www.ddmtuning.com. I have a hi/lo beam 55W 6k hit in my headlights and a 55W 6k lo only kit in my fogs. I love the output, you can definitely tell a difference.

I have had 6k in my ranger for the last month or so, drive all kinds of back roads at night. I have had probally 10 out of 1000 people flash their brights at me. I used the stock housing. Give me afew min I will get a couple pics of my setup (if they turned out, I have not downloaded from the camera yet lol)

I will try to get some good night shots this weekend when I am in the mountians of the beam from the cab.

No point, the "As long as I can see the road to some degree with my housings throwing misaimed light in every direction, F-you" mentality reigns supreme now-a-days. Ohh well, soon I'll have my Rigid Industries 30" bar in addition to my D2's, I'll be more than obliged to "return the favour" to the inconsiderate drivers . . .

Decently aimed stock housings with Silverstars should provide more than enough light in any superduty housing. If not, your eyes are bad enough you shouldn't be on the road at night then anyway, sorry to be the one to tell you.

A person can also retro fit an actual HID specific projector for a pretty decent price, have superior light output, and disturb other drivers less than with factory lights.

Edit - Check this out. Tempted to order a set myself now . . .
