About time I get my window fixed
To recall, back in October this happened
Called around to a few auto glass vendors and so forth, they all wanted $500 for the window and installation. No help from insurance, so I did a temporary fix with 2 5/8ths inch plexiglass and ran with that for around 9 months. Looked like crap, but it functioned and kept water and so forth out. Yesterday a buddy of mine called me from the junk yard and told me he found a 2001 Ranger with the glass in it, however it was a 2 door extended cab. He said it looked like it was fresh and I needed to get down there. So today I got up, hauled down there, found the Ranger, and lo and behold Mike was wrong and it was a 4 door extended cab, just what I needed at the price I could live with $20. So I snagged the window, ran over the Ranger to find more goodies, didn't have anything I needed or others needed, so I looked around the yard, came across a 2002 that had been rolled. So I went through that, and came up with a replacement low horn, so I won't have a woosy horn anymore.
Before-
After-
I had to do a walmart tint on the new window, as it was just the clear tint and not the privacy tint like my truck has... not a bad turnout for my first time tinting a window.

Now I'm gunna find the damn window everywhere now... just watch.
Shane, the Ranger I pulled it from had grey interior if ya need me to go back and grab stuff. I looked for the drivers side and passenger side grab handles... nothing on it. The rolled one I found had tan interior so...
In fact, let me extend that to everyone, if there's something you need, PM me. Both those trucks are pretty well complete so...
