Flareside Roll bar bed dimension ??

Hi I'm new to the this forum site and I joined to get some insight on getting a flareside roll bar.

I found a roll bar that's dimensions are 45.5 inches from each end of the flange.

I know the flareside bed is around 46-47" on the when measured on the top.

BUT. I when I measured the insides it only measured about 40 inches or so because I have a factory bed liner.

Now my question is, is there still room (inches hidden) behind that bedliner and/or do I have to cut it out in order to fit this roll bar?

Please help Thanks

Stepside Roll Bar Cut & Mount

Ok I found a roll bar for my Stepside Ranger. The dimensions were originally 40 inches wide from the front flanges and about 35 inches wide between each rear kicker, (meant to fit a regular bed). The problem was the bend in the bar going up was hitting the sidewall of the bed. I needed to cut about a 6 inch sector on the top pipe and reattach the two. Ultimately it was a success in mounting and it looks great.

For you guys out there thinking about getting one, you can buy roll bar that fits a regular bed and make your adjustments. Its not hard to cut the bar to make it fit. I reattaches the bar by putting a PVC pipe inside and securing it through bolts. No welding required!

I like how you reattached the two halves without welding. Looks great.
