I agree with the twin comment, it also gives you a couple spots to put items like a glass or. Your wallet/ glasses/hat/clothes.

I camp regularly using my truck bed tent, and use a standard twin sized inflatable mattress. I got it off Amazon for about $60.
having the corners filled in is nice when you want to stretch out diagonally and the truck bedz mattress doesnt loose air and is built a lot better than any $60 mattress. youre camping with the tailgate down i assume so youre not worried about leg room. there are two different models of the truck bedz mattress, one is $100 the other is $200 and can hold 4000lbs (dont ask me why).

I looked through the thread and was slightly sad that no one mentioned me. lol

Made a platform, storage underneath, memory foam mattress cut to fit

even though i'ma stepside, i've slept with my gf and dog in there.

only thing i'm changing for this summer is a wood platform for my ladder rack. that way i can slide it over the back as an awning and cover everything with a tarp to stake to the ground. That way i don't have to park near trees or anything.

My hunting spot is 100 miles away,..There are no motels even close.I have slept in the back of my old Suburban more than once..not bad...

Now I have the FX4 Ford Ranger....I have a leer topper where the window pullout..I will have to glue a wood frame on the inside to attach screen..We have mosquitoes in FL nearly year round if the temps are above 50 degrees. My dad does this alot..He's a clever sort and somehow hooked electric to the trailor wire hook up. I beleive an air mattress would be a good idea and Walmart carries a sleeping bag for 20 degrees for 50.00 ..I got one..You can cook on wood or a sterno stove..I hunt alone so the Ranger is plenty big enough fo rme.

Hotel less $ than camping?!

Whoevere says staying at a hotel cost less than camping must be camping in an over priced RV. Because camping in your Ranger is about $50.00 per night!
