whats the biggest size for stock 2011 ford ranger xlt 4wd(GOODYEAR WRANGLER DURATRAC)
I'm buying goodyear wrangler duratrac all terrain tires. I have a 2011 ford ranger xlt 4wd with stock everything, no lifts or levels. the goodyear website says my ranger will fit 255/70r16. I'm wondering whats the biggest size I could go without any potential rubbing? Possibly 31",32"?

I was also thinking of wheel spacers if it rubbed a little on the inside, never used them before. A friend said they could help if I get them for 265s plus they look good

I've had them cranked for over a year. Had em cranked when it was stock and they're pretty much maxed now with the superlift. Didn't really notice any ride quality difference. Rode like **** before, rides like **** now. Thousands of rangers are running around with the tbars cranked. It's a pretty common mod.
Wheel spacers aren't the best idea. They're not harmful exactly, they're just another point of possible failure. They wouldn't really help your situation anyway. If the tires rub, it would be on the bumper valance or the fender flares. Spacers would just make that worse.

Nothing wrong with a body lift. They are definitely more work though. You're looking at 20 min for a torsion bar crank or a full day/day and a half for a body lift. (Assuming you do both yourself). Plus, if you're gonna do all that work for a body lift, you might as well do a 3" IMO.
