Did you guys have a noticable gap on the outside of tail light. I bought the carbon fiber lookin ones and they have nasty gaps on both sides. If water gets in there whats gonna happen

yup. I took some black foam insulation foam from work and put it between the gap than tightened them. No leaks after 2 years!!!!!!! you will have a gap tho

Edit: Water in lense= condensation (foggy lense)

gap with the bed side? ya mine is a little more then stock but there is a gap with stock anyways. plus um there isnt a problem if water gets back there its just the inside of the fender that is open hell look under the truck and you can see the tail light. and water drips down from the stake holes anyway its all open back there...

My taillights are in pockets, shielded from the elements coming through stake pockets and coming from the wheel-wells. It can only be "seen" from directly underneath it.

Mine had a noticable gap also, and has not leaked any or condensed any inside. I need to tighten them up, but lost one of the screws so I need to find a replacement first.

I had gap in mine, I didn't like the gap, it got to much mud in behind the lights when off-roading.

if your altezza lights leak, try some silicone caulk around the connectors, since the o rings dont make an air tight seal.
