Ok I got to ask, How do you guys keep your miles so low? My 01 I traded it in with 86K on my 04, and I am darn proud that my truck is 28 months old and still hasn't broke the 50K mark. Heck My Mother bought her Focus in Decenber and already has 12K on it, and some of you have had your cars for years without breaking that, what do you do? Just hangout at home? I work thrity miles from home, but around here that isn't that abnormal.

I am now at 28,500, and i have owned it for 41 months

I keep my miles low by not driving. I walk to work.

When you live out in the suburbs you have to drive everywhere. If you want fewer miles on your vehicle move closer to your work.

I don't live in the cities, I am a country boy through and through, But I assume most of the people on this site are as well. I understand if I bought a 650,000 dollar 400 square feet condo in downtown Minneapolis and took the bus to my job in the suburb I might save a few miles, but I am amazed that there aren't more out there that have a commute. Not to mention I put at least 3000 miles a yeear on while hunting, and fishing. Do most of you walk to work and the grocery store and just drive your vehicles to the off-road park? I don't care how many miles I got (Until trade in time) , I buy my truck to drive and enjoy, My cadillac had low miles on it when I got it, but the way I see it, if it has less than 300,000 miles on it when I die, I wasted my time with that car. Right now it has 113,000 so I got a ways to go!

2002 FX4 107,226 this has been a great truck, but it won't pull the trailer I am getting, so I been feeding it oats so it will grow into a F-150 Lariat 4X4 by the middle of July. Whew those gas prices gotta come down eh!

19,000 and its 1 year old this month . a little over 1,000 miles in 4 low out of 19,000 total. This is a horrible ratio ! Hopefully it will improve this year
