noise when going over speed bumps and bumps

how can i stop my suspenion from make noise when i hit bumps or speed bumps? i have a 99 ford ranger 3.0L with big leaf springs and i was woundering what i could do

Wheres the squeak coming from? I've also had leaf springs make squeaky noises if they have sand/grit caught between them. A good washing and some wd-40 will take care of that if its the leaf springs
