when im driving and slowly down from like 50 or so..i hear this weird hum.. kinda sounds like tire hum...but its never done this before.. also when im going like 30..it hums..and also sounds like a grindin noise sorta i dunno what it is... as my sig says..i have A/T tires..but damn..theyhum this loud?

 

they could yes. could also be a bad tire. try rotating them and see if the hum move's around

 

Are you sure it's the tires?

Drive train problems, particularly driveshaft related ones, also sound like that. Inspect the tailshaft of your tranny, and pinion of your differenntial for signs of leakage. Drivetrain vibrations often cause fluid to weep past the seals from the vibration.

Front wheel bearings can also sound like that as well.

Not at all sure from the information presented what it is -- I'm just throwing out some other things to consider and to examine.

 

When the hum is occuring turn the wheel back and forth, if the noise changes then either tires or wheel bearing. Keep us posted.

yeah man... i was about to say that i didnt think it was the tires because i probably have those same tires.... futura dakota h/t's... and they arent real loud at all
