Does anyone know how to fix the sensors in the door that refuse to turn off my door ajar light? I greased them up good but every time I hit a bump the door ajar light goes on and won't turn off. Can I replace them or bypass them?

 

Soak the door latches with wd-40.

Yea I tried doing the whole wd 40 thing as well, but I had no luck with it.

 

You gave the door openings a good shot and worked it in by opening and closing a little rough?

That's what worked on mine.

 

That has always worked on mine. WD40 then some penetrating oil.

Yep. I'll have to try it again sometime. The door ajar light comes on very sporadically, so Im not too worried about it.

 

Slam the door as hard as u can a few times after you spray it. worked on mine and didn't come back for 2 years.

It is a penetrating spray used to free rusted fasteners.

 

Now take some “White Grease”, use the spray kind, and spray the latch area in the door with it.
The white grease will last longer than PB or WD40.
