1990 Tach calibration help
Hunted as much as I could in the forums but did not find my situation so.....
Going to be installing a 5 liter into a 1990 Ranger that was originally a 4 liter with OEM tachometer.
Does anyone have guidance on how to recalibrate the tach to read correctly with the V8 signal?
Many thanks in advance.,

There is no wiring conversion for that on 1994 and earlier Rangers, 1995 and up can be recalibrated
You can use an SGI-8E made by dakota digital, but pricey, $100
You can swap Ranger tach for one from an older full size Ford with a V8
