all gauges not working

hi all,
im new here, just bought 94 ranger 3.0 v6 manual, 4x4.
problem- all gauges are not working.
i read through the threads and tried a couple of things but am no closer to solving problem
with the single wire disconnected from the water temp sensor and the oil pressure sensor, and the engine running, i have zero volts measured at the wire.
oh yah, tried grounding the wire also, gauges did not move.
i believe that there is a common problem to all the gauges but i dont have a wiring schematic to follow.
perhaps a common ground or power supply maybe.
all fuses are ok, lights on dash cluster work, all small lights to indicate troubles all seem to work. i read somewhere that there is a power supply for the gauges but dont know where it is.

any ideas?
any one know where to get wiring schematics for this model

thanks in adance
nick
