Engine Revving 1994 Ranger

It is a 1994 Ranger manual tranny.

As I am driving and I shift the truck the engine revs. I have noticed that as I am slowing down that truck revs until the speedometer reaches 0 MPH

clean or change your IAC valve and its gasket.

i shall give it a try thanks. I am very new to the truck scene. Just got my first truck 2 weeks ago. I have been a car guy forever now

It was the IACV. I took it out and cleaned it really good. All is well now
