Need electrical help...
I've got a touch switch for my 500ff lights behind the grill. The way the switch was made, it needs a constant power source in order for the switch to illuminate red (off).
My problem is that SOMETIMES I've forgotten to shut the lights off and they end up draining the battery real quick when the truck is turned off.
Does anyone know which radio wire will provide power only when the truck is running? I'd prefer power only to come to the switch when the truck is running and NOT when it's off but the key is in the ACC position.
Thanks

Dash fuses 2, 6, 10 and 14 are hot in RUN only.

Hot in both RUN and ACC is fine with me.

If you’re concerned with accidentally leaving the lights on I’d connect the auxiliary light switch to the Light Blue with Red Stripe wire. This wire only receives power with the headlamp switch in the park/headlight on position. Since your truck has a headlamp reminder chime, you’d be less likely to forget to turn them off.
Only draw back is your auxiliary lights will only work with the headlight switch in the park/headlights on position. If you want them to work anytime the ignition system is in the run/accessory position then use the Yellow with Black stripe wire.
