Brake issue - Speed Sensor??
I've had an issue with my rear drum brakes on a 2005 Edge 4X4. One side was working and the other side was not. This is based off of one drum being hot and the other cold. Brakes have been basically totally rebuilt. New cylinders, hardware, shoes, drums turned…basically everything that can be replaced inside the drum. I still have this same issue. I am also still getting a vibration at certain speeds. Perticularly around 40 - 45 and 60-65 mph. I am starting to think this vibration is possibly a pulsation. Perhaps an ABS pulsation? I am thinking this because the truck seems to drag somewhat. My question is this - Could the rear speed sensor be a culprit? Could this sensor be bad although the ABS light isnt on or is not throwing any codes? Any other suggestions or comments?

I'm having problems with my rear brakes again too. Had mine toally re-done this past summer, sure enough the temp. was cold enough last night to cause them to lock up when I put like .00005 lbs. of pressure on the pedal.
I did find out here the sensor is like $20 and takes 5 min. to change, you could start there. But my ABS light is coming on every once in a while.
I'm thinking getting through this winter, then rear disks this spring.
