Wireing a Tach

I know that the wire I need is a tan with yellow tracer but I am having trouble finding it. The instructions say it's on the passenger side of the dash. Any help is welcome.
Thanks, Bob

What year? Its Probably either behind the radio at the GEM or if your truck doesn't have a gem its gonna be at the SJB which is on the passenger side in that little kick panel, Which is where the speed sensor wire for my OHC was

Thje tan/yellow runs from the PCM (passenger side firewall underhood), through the engine wiring harness to the large firewall bulkhead connector near the master cylinder. It passes into the interior on the other side of that connector (near the p-brake pedal) and goes directly to the instrument cluster, no where else.
