I have an 89 Ford Ranger that I recently replaced the fuel pump on. At first it worked fine, but after a few days, it would start but not idle. When I turn on the key, the fuel pump primes but doesn't stop after a few seconds like it should... it just keeps going until I shut the key off.

Can anyone give me some ideas as to how to fix this?
