dome light

The lights all have covers that you need to gently pry apart from the light assembly. Then, take out the screws, and it will come off. Two of the screws provide power and ground, so there is no electrical connector. If the light won't work, you probably missed the screw hole and it's not getting power. That, or a bulb burned out. I installed an Explorer light in my XLT, only took two hours of cursing and I got it. :)

The other issue may be a screw that's too short. I had that problem when I was putting my XLT domelight in. Thankfully, Tony (6THRANGER on GE, don't think he's on here) was able to help me out and provided me a screw that was long enough, whilst taking one of the shorter ones to put in his dome light. Worked out perfectly.
