Removing Bezel w/ Aftermarkey HU

I was going to paint over my AC overlay with some blue and red paint to go with my new HU. My question is with the filler plate connected to the HU how do I pull out the bezel? Will the HU and filler plate remain in place, or will I have to pull those as well?

Here is what I am working with:

Just remove the two 7-8mm screws on the bezel and remove the whole assembly as one. It will be easier.

there is a special clip that attaches the radio to the bezel, i'm sure there is some way to rig it up but they need to be unclipped to separate the radio and bezel.

Yes it will. Just dont yank too hard as there are some connectors you have to undo for the cigarette light and power outlet.
