Spray on bedliner on other parts of truck?

I am thinking about trying "Herculiner" bed liner goo sort of as a stripe along the lower edge of the body, rocker panels etc, and up around under the edge as protection and sealer for the bottom edge of the body panels.

Has anyone tried this? results?

There are a ton of examples of this on Rangers. Do a Google image search for "Ford Ranger bed liner rocker panels." Take your time and do the prep work the right way. Otherwise, you're going to have problems.

Personally, I'm going to do my fender flares once it warms up down here since I've read about the bed liner not adhering well and coming out of the can like silly string when the weather is cool (<60*F). Not sure about the roll-on stuff though. May do the rocker panels later down the road.

i did my truck's bed using the rustoleom bed liner spray. Results are very good and it adheres on the truck bed like epoxy paint. Preparation is important otherwise paint will not stick. I did. Only two coats and I don't see any paint peelings or cracklings due to heat. I've
loaded different cargos and it still look great.

A friend of mine coated the entire floor of his Wrangler and swapped out a number of the exposed electronics (radio, amp, speakers, stuff like that) with boat parts. He doesn't use a top any more ha ha. Ever since seeing that I've wanted to coat a truck floor in it.

Like the above poster said it's all about good prep.

Hey cool I get to contribute for the first time! I sprayed the bottom of my truck just like you were describing, Donanoyscott.

I have no regrets whatsoever and I'm happy with it. Rhino, but any brand would serve the same function and look as nice, it's just what I had access to. I sprayed right up to where the body bends so that the liner is the furthest out part of the body. Door-ding me now, soccer moms!

Nice job. How much did you pay for your tires? They look a lot beefy.

IDK, you'd have to ask the previous owner :)

Not sure how much I love them just yet, they were a blast in the snow, but now feel a little over-kill.
